I read reviews on here first before deciding to stay. I stayed in November and though I saw a few ants, flies were more of a problem. I read about the shooting range and new of the dairies but did not know about the women's correction center with announcements during the day. Park roads were a little narrow and not all sites are convenient for openings on the right for awnings fortunately we had a descent location with a fire pit and table that was a pull through. The bathrooms were dirty though I saw lots of maintenance crew, they are public park style with no doors if that bothers you. I did not see the showers but the cost is $1.50 in quarters. Next time I stay I'm bringing fly strips. I would stay here again though people were friendly and the park for small kids was great.

On this site it lists the location being in Boulder City which it is not, but in the NRA of Lake Mead. There are permanent mobile homes throughout the campground along with back up and pull through sites. Empty in November as we used a Lake front view but know that many of the sites have a view but are on gravel. The lake view is concrete pad for patio and trailer with sewer, water, electric and TV hook ups. There were picnic tables made of some material to resemble wood without splinters. In-laws were camping for the week and we visited for a few days. Clean friendly people with exception of one visitor. Store with plenty of forgotten stuff as well. The NRA campground is next to it just does not have full hookup at site but has dump and water access. I would stay again especially Nov, may try here in Mar too.

Yes it is tight parking, there is noise from the PCH and I was camped on that side. I recommend arriving Sunday to Thursday and dumping tanks between 12-2 pm where you have to hook up and tow to north lot. The pier is close but it is difficult finding a place to a park a truck. The bathrooms not exactly clean but I did see CA State park crews trying to keep up with the shared public use of restrooms. There are fire pits on the beach but bring a chair and stake it out early. The hosts were good we tried staying another day but there were no cancellations and no one left early. Our kids enjoyed meeting all the other kids there and seemed to get along. 99% of fellow campers will help with parking, one refused to move her car "I'm on vacation" was her reply when asked if she would move it to park. There is ATT WiFi available at the main guard station and requires a fee. There are some picnic tables in certain locations and a dog beach to the south.

Close to a park across the street and a grocery store, all walking distance. The camp spots are on gravel behind the Best Western Town and Country. They provide continental breakfast. The outdoor pool was closed but the other property across the street had an indoor pool and spa. Wi-Fi was hit and miss outdoors but worked in the lobby, no TV / Cable hookup outside. There are some tables not at all spots and no camp fires allowed. Spots are pull through with 50/30, sewer, and water. Convenience store with diesel fuel in the same parking area as the camping spots. Stayed there a few weeks, noise was not bad. Would recommend for stay over needing hookup, Utah Summer Games or Shakesphere festival as some people there were doing.

Close enough to hiking and fishing in the twin lakes. Gravel spots with no camp fires allowed, 4 year old was disappointed but still enjoyed our stay there. Showers and bathroom were clean, appeared to have a few people residing there. Don't try and travel through downtown Prescott with your trailer, parking is non-existent.

Simple park, we were told where to park which did not accommodate our trailer due to the trees being too low (a/c unit) and too narrow for space which we could not open awning. The great thing was its close proximity to the beach and highway access. Diesel fuel stations close by not RV friendly. There are no sewer hook ups, but there is a mobile service which visits twice a week. Our trailer was 27' in length and the spot given should be for parking a vehicle. We had to park a certain direction with the door on the left into a tree and the slide on the right inches from the other tree. There were other spots available not sure why we had to be placed there. Parking our vehicle was difficult when other rigs were there. Having to wait on dump service before travel was not worth it for the time we spent. No fire pits all gravel but level. There are no restroom facilities no playground for children.
